A simultaneous session was held in the Development Seminar entitled: LEADERSHIP, DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENT, co-sponsored by IEF. It had an indigenous focus. Danielle Locke organized a panel discussion with Arthur Dahl (for IEF), Glen Eyeford and Jack McCants.

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15

The International Environment Forum and the Agriculture Forum (AF) held two sessions jointly:

Workshop:
Paul Hanley (Canada) and Arthur Dahl (Switzerland): AGRICULTURE AND ENVIRONMENT: BOUND BY THE COVENANT
Developing a unified approach to agriculture and the environment based upon the Writings. Included an artistic presentation, talks by Paul Hanley and Arthur Dahl, a group exercise to further stimulate thinking on issues related to the topic, and a break out session to study specific passages from the Writings.

Networking Session: Facilitated by Peter Adriance (USA) and Winnie Merritt (USA): AGRICULTURE AND ENVIRONMENT
Included warm-up using the arts and a group exercise; personal introductions; group consultation, and breakouts on specific topics of the group's choosing. Contact information was collected and distributed to participants to facilitate follow-up.
