In a few countries where climate change science has become a political issue, the International Environment Forum has been criticized for taking sides in the “debate”. The following paragraphs explain the clear position of IEF concerning climate change.

The 22nd General Assembly of the International Environment Forum was held over the Internet using the Zoom platform on 25 August 2018. The election of the IEF Governing Board took place by e-voting on 14-24 August before the General Assembly.

After achieving gender balance in all his senior appointments, he has now reorganised the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, responsible for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals.
